The village itself has a pub / restaurant, garage /shop / cafe, village hall and church. Williton (2 miles) has a good range of local facilities including cottage hospital, medical centre, schools, Lloyds bank and a range of food and ancillary shops. Taunton (15 miles) the county town gives access to the national motorway system and fast trains to London (from 1 hour 40 minutes)
